So that you know what to expect I will go through the questions we might ask you in your design appointment and I will explain how we design your wedding ring.

Wedding Ring Design Appointment

When you first come in for your design appointment I will ask you if you have seen any inspiration or if there are any particular designs or design elements you like such as diamond set or whether your partner has a wedding ring that you would like to match yours to.

Next I will look at your engagement ring, take measurements and look at how well the wedding ring would fit under the setting or whether you need a fitted wedding band and we will talk you through all of your options.

For example if your engagement ring is a beautiful pear shaped diamond with a halo of little round diamonds on the outside set in platinum then we can establish the design elements that you like so we can sketch a variety of different designs to discuss.

As we are designing your wedding ring we also talk about choosing the metal to match your engagement ring. If you had a platinum engagement ring then we recommend a platinum wedding ring too so that the metals don’t wear away too much when placed next to eachother.

Wedding Ring Drawing

Once you have chosen your favourite sketch I will put together a 3D digital design so you can see what the wedding ring will look like when it has been made. At this point we can also make any alterations.

No two love stories are the same I don’t believe any two wedding rings should be the same either. I think it is important for you to put time into designing your wedding ring and choose a design that is perfect for you. After all, you will be wearing it for a lifetime.
