Earlier this year we asked for a sign. We were granted a sign with a beautiful feather and now we present our stunning new collection designed for the free, independent woman who is truly in love with herself!
Feathers have so many meanings, we see them when an angel is near, they symbolise flight and freedom. They are a symbol of love and gratitude.
When you find a feather, it can mean that someone is trying to reach out to you – to remind you that you are loved. It could mean count your blessings and be truly grateful for the good you have in your life. Take a deep breath and relax, experience levity and ease up on the seriousness. Or, it could mean to listen… is there a higher power trying to communicate with you?
Feathers were also a huge part of fashion in the 1920’s. Flapper girls (the beginning of the rebellious woman) and 20’s beauties adorned themselves in them in forms of various accessories. Therefore, to us, feathers also represent glamour and luxury!
Feathers from the 1920’s
We have created this collection with glamour and freedom in mind. Using Sterling Silver as our main metal, the main piece is set with pale Ceylon Sapphires and White Pearls. A colour scheme which could symbolise flight and purity.
In the collection we also have a Sterling Silver ring, a delicate pendant on a long chain (great for layering) and earrings in drop or stud form. The pieces can be created in gold or other precious metals upon request.
So, what does the feather represent to you? How would you wear the main, statement necklace? The collection will be available on the website in the coming weeks and can be viewed in our jewellery boutique in Bakewell, Derbyshire now.
