Fundraising and the London Marathon

Fundraising by Roseanna Croft, founder of Roseanna Croft Jewellery.

[vc_column_text]In April this year I am running the Virgin London Marathon and fundraising for two incredible charities. Since the ballot runners were announced back in November, I have made the decision to run the marathon for two amazing charities close to my heart; Heads Together and The Princes Trust.

The Fundraising

Throughout Feb and March Roseanna Croft Jewellery will be giving 5% sales to the chosen charities through my Virgin Money Giving page.

I will also be organising a charity evening later this year. We will be auctioning a bespoke design and hosting another raffle, with exciting prizes ranging from jewellery to jewellery accessories (details to follow).

I’m now 5 weeks into training and building my miles up week by week. I’m getting very excited about the big day as well as supporting my chosen charities!

The ‘Why’ Behind The Charities

Roseanna Croft Jewellery has been set up with the help and support of The Prince’s Trust. Since I moved back to England in 2015, they have helped myself and Roseanna Croft Jewellery go from strength to strength, so I find this as a perfect opportunity to give back.

Heads Together is another charity which I feel strongly about. I have experience of seeing mental health and mental illness in different forms. In one way or another, mental health affects everybody and its upsetting that still today we cannot talk about it. People suffering need to know they shouldn’t be afraid to seek help, so let’s rid the stigma around mental health!

The work both charities do is invaluable, hence my desire to support them.

Support Roseanna

If you wish to support me on my tough but exciting journey, every little helps. Anything from a good luck message on social media or a donation.

I’ll be sure to keep you all updated on the fundraising and training progress!
