Design Story of A Platinum and Rose Cut Diamond Ring by Roseanna Croft Jewellery

At the end of last year, we started discussions with a lovely client about her bespoke jewellery design. She was due to give birth and this ring was to symbolise the birth of her first child.

She was based in Perth, Australia so we started our discussion over email to decide which style would suit her best. This lady had first come across us on Facebook and loved the style of our jewellery design, so we decided to keep it along the lines of our typical style – delicate, simple with a touch of glamour!

Our client had also seen some lovely designs on Pinterest, so we took her favourite elements and created her a design. Some of the elements included Rose Cut Diamonds as opposed to Round Brilliant Cut Diamonds and a Milgrain detail around the settings.

Her engagement and wedding rings were set in Platinum, so we decided this would be the best metal for this ring, as it’s the most durable.

Things went a little quiet towards the end of the year until we were sent a beautiful photo of baby Eliza, born into a very loving family!

So, while my client was busy enjoying being a new mother, we went to work making her ring. We sourced her three, unique rose cut diamonds for the Platinum trilogy ring. As my client is based in Australia, we arranged for her to come and pick it up this year whilst she was visiting family and introducing everybody to baby Eliza.

I was so pleased to hand this ring over to my client (and her family) because here we have created such a special piece of jewellery to mark such a special moment in this family’s life. A proud moment for us at Roseanna Croft Jewellery.
