The current COVID-19 crisis has put a stop to many things we were looking forward to, from birthday celebrations to holidays abroad – and weddings are no exception! Weddings are off all across the UK right now and while this is, of course, very disappointing, perhaps it can also be a blessing in disguise? Even more so if you’ve decided to get matching his and hers wedding rings using the same design, material, or style – or all of the above! Whether you’re getting married in two months or two years, it’s never too early to start the search for your perfect matching wedding rings. In the wedding game, the early bird really does catch the worm!

As a follow on from Laura’s ‘feminist wedding’ blog last week about her dreams of wanting to get engaged and that not making her a bad feminist, I wanted to respond with my own views on marriage! I am a feminist, I make engagement and wedding rings, I adore people’s love stories, yet I am not necessarily traditional, and I don’t dream of getting married – at least not the classic way!

   

 

At the beginning of the year I first my client, who we’ll call Mr J. He was looking for a bespoke engagement ring as he was looking to propose soon but didn’t know where to start.

What a MAGICAL weekend! On the 19th May 2018 we saw Prince Harry, marry Meghan Markle. They are now known as Duke and Duchess of Sussex and Meghan’s official title is Her Royal Highness, The Duchess of Sussex. The dress was stunning, the venue was amazing (obviously, it’s Windsor!) and the newly weds were so in love, but if we’re honest we only had eyes for the spectacular jewellery worn to the Royal Wedding!
