To launch our latest collection ‘Lace’ we have teamed up with the Titan Children’s Trust. Each piece we create tells a story. The story we are telling with this collection is one of love, joy and a touch of luxury. The initial inspiration came from the silk lace trim on my grandmother’s wedding dress. It was the one touch of luxury she could afford in a post war Britain.
We wanted to give something back to the community and as a growing business we want to give back and help others grow as well.
After the war my grandmother was unable to wear the dress of her dreams, that is what makes this collection so important to me. It’s a way of creating the beauty that she was unable to afford due to the war. A woman on her wedding day truly feels like the most beautiful woman in the world. It can evoke beauty and self-worth.
The Titan Children’s Trust aims to encourage self-worth in children in the East Midlands. This is invaluable for creating the entrepreneurs of the future. They must be able to discover their own value in the world.
Giving back is a huge part of the ethos at Roseanna Croft Jewellery. Although we deal in luxury, we want to make sure that access to support and recreation isn’t a luxury for children. It is a necessity for their development and personal growth.
The work that the Trust does within the community is so important. The opportunity to learn life skills and grow as the future generation is fundamental. Roseanna Croft Jewellery wouldn’t be here today without the life skills and opportunities I was lucky to have growing up so this is why we chose the Titan Children’s Trust.
