James originally came to me with a really simple idea to make an engagement ring for his girlfriend using rings he had inherited from family. Throughout our conversations we spoke about the jewellery he had been passed down and about what his girlfriend was like and the type of jewellery she wears. We took his ideas and transformed them into a design he knew she would love and a piece that would be cherished for a lifetime. When looking at the jewellery James had inherited, we discovered that some of the diamonds were actually cubic zirconia, which I wouldn’t advise using in an engagement ring. Some of the gold was 9ct and some was 18ct and when using your old gold, I advise to keep the purity the same.
After an open conversation with James, we decided to replace the cubic zirconias with diamonds in the same measurement to match the quality of the other diamonds we were using and bring the total purity of the gold to 18ct.
“Roseanna is a fantastic lady to deal with; she helped all the way through the process and answered all the questions I had to ask. She is very knowledgeable in her field and this shows with the ring she designed for me and my now fiancée, the first drawing she did was the one I fell in love with and how she managed to come up with the design so quickly from my briefing was fantastic to see I can’t thank her enough. I would give her more than five stars if I could. I would highly recommend her.”
