The Oscars Jewellery 2018
The most anticipated awards ceremony in the world happened over the weekend as the Oscars celebrated its 90th year. We’re bringing you some of the most beautiful Oscars jewellery we saw on the Red Carpet.
Helen Mirren in Harry Winston
One of our idols, Helen Mirren wore stunning Harry Winston Sapphires and Diamonds. Estimated to be worth over $3.8 million, the set was made in Platinum. Classic and certianly striking!
Gal Gadot in Tiffany & Co
Wonder Woman sure looked wonderful in ‘Blue Ice’ from the Tiffany ‘Blue Book Collection.’ A truly show stopping piece, handcrafted in Fifth Avenue in Platinum with 17 Aquamarines and over 900 Diamonds… An Art Deco beauty that stole the show.
Camilla Alves in Chopard
Brazillian model and actress Camilla Alves wore a striking necklace from the ‘Temptations Collection’ by Chopard. 73.74-carats of pear-shaped rubellites, 15.48-carats of oval-shaped rubies, 11.75-carats of pear-shaped amethysts, 3.26-carats of diamonds and 0.65-carats of amethysts set in 18k white gold. It was a stunning statement against her cream Vivienne Westwood custom made gown, a beautiful sight to see.
Meryl Streep in Fred Leighton
The incredible Meryl Streep chose an elegant, vintage look with Old Mine Cut Diamond, Gold Pendant Earrings and a 19th Century Diamond bangle. Timeless beauty.
Just a few of our favourite pieces of Oscars jewellery but aren’t they all breathtaking?
Diamonds and white metals were the overwhelming favourite it seems, always a classic. The other major trend on the red carpet were sparkling drop earrings, particularly pear shapes and filigree designs. All sparkling diamond statements.
